I can't imagine being that deep in Tolkien, first of all, so points off for being as familiar as you are and knowing such an expansive canon as well as you do. Thranduil is exceptionally great to stalk, though. You have an absolutely compelling way of words and you're an incredibly versatile writer. You take to everyone you do like a duck to water, and you manage everything from being fun, cracky and lighthearted to deep, thoughtful, and serious, sometimes flipping between the two on a dime, without ever misstepping. I just cannot get over your wordsmithing. I cannot comprehend how absolutely phenomenal it is, there just aren't enough words in the word? Or maybe there are, and I just fail miserably at utilising them. The point is, you're amazing, Thranduil is amazing, everything is literal shining diamonds.

I did backflips when I read this, especially since I've been down lately and worried about my characterisation with Thranduil (who's such a competent, confident character and daunting to tackle because of that at times). This is the most lovely thing to find in my inbox and you are a darling that I hope finds a twenty on the ground tomorrow c: I'll do my very best to keep playing him consistently in the future!
